I would like to publicly thank Mr. Earl Weeks of Intracoastal Marine Construction and his two-man professional team for the quality job they just completed in replacing the bulkheads along the Neuse River for seven residents of Cypress Bay on the Neuse. He worked quickly, efficiently and with the utmost quality. His care for the environment and ensuring that water quality was never disturbed are commendable. As a Florida transplant to the wonderful state of North Carolina, I find it reassuring to know that there are contractors who are thoughtful and industrious in providing a quality product at a fair price. Hats off to all in this great state who match those standards. I’m proud to be a Tar Heel.
